Black Sheep Organics - this group of dedicated people are using part of the site to raise organic hens which produce eggs, (although only when they want to!), which can often be bought from local farm shops.

Sleekburn Water Fisheries - A man-made lake is tended by the fisheries, they can offer a wonderful all year round fresh water fishing experience.

Redress - A co-operative who recycle textiles, offer clothes alteration, repair services and Fancy Dress hire.

The LDR Squared Learning and Conference Centre - Have conferences or training events in the idyllic surroundings of the site. To hire the onsite Learning and Conference Centre call 01670 824 111.

The NCC Horticultural Training Unit - Provide hand on skills training for people with learning disabilities through growing vegetables, flowers and plants.

The North East Organic Growers - are a workers co-operative which produce and sell organically grown food and related products, marketing them though a box scheme.

The site is open all year round and entrance is free. All we ask is that you treat the land with care and show concern for the environment and the businesses trying to earn a living in a sustainable way.
