SUN:
Without the sun, the special solar panels on the buildings
at Earth Balance would not be able to make energy.
SOIL:
Because the soil at Earth Balance has been looked after
and not been spoiled by the use of nasty 'stuff' it has
been classed as special.
BIRD:
There a lot of birds who live in the trees and hedges
at Earth Balance, why not come and see if you can spot
them?
ENERGY:
There are a lot of ways to make energy without spoiling
the planet and at Earth Balance we are trying to use them;
solar panels, a (wind harvester) wind turbine, water (hydro)
turbines and a Bio fuel engine generator.
SOLAR:
The solar panels on the buildings at Earth Balance are
used to make power to heat the water on the site.
POWER: The power made by the on site power
systems is used to power the water heating systems for
site.
